1. Delete one child's records
If you only want to remove a single child's profile and keep the rest of your account, you can delete that child's record directly:
- On the web: sign in, go to your parent dashboard, open the child's profile, and choose Delete. This permanently removes that child's student record.
- In the app: the same removal is available from the child's profile in your account.
Deleting a child's record is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes that student's profile from your account; it does not affect your own parent login or other children on the account.
2. Delete your child's voice recordings
In speaking games, short voice recordings of your child's answers are captured so teachers can review pronunciation. These clips are stored privately and are never sold or shared for marketing.
There is currently no self-service button to delete individual voice clips. To request deletion of your child's voice recordings, email us at info@intellectumkids.com with your account email and your child's name, and we will delete the recordings for you.
Deleting your entire account (Section 4) also permanently deletes every voice recording tied to your children.
3. Remove a device / sign out other devices
Each phone or tablet signed in to the app is registered as a device on your account. You can remove any device from your account at any time:
- In the app: open your device list and choose Remove next to the device you want signed out.
Removing a device immediately ends every session on it and frees up its seat, so it no longer has access to your account or your children's profiles.
4. Delete your entire account
Deleting your account is the most complete way to remove your data. It:
- Cancels your games subscription immediately
- Signs out and revokes every device and session on the account
- Permanently deletes every child's voice recordings
- Permanently deletes homework assignments, submissions, and attachments
- Deactivates all children's profiles and clears their PINs
- Anonymizes your login so it can no longer be used to sign in
Where to do it:
- In the app: Profile → Delete account
- On the web: visit Delete my account (you'll need to sign in and re-enter your password to confirm)
Outstanding balance: if your account has an unpaid invoice, account deletion is refused until the balance is paid. Once it's settled, you can delete the account right away.
Payments already made: deleting your account does not refund anything you have already paid, including the remainder of a month you have paid for in advance. If you believe a refund is due, email us before you delete — deletion removes your login, so you would have no account to write from afterwards. Refunds are reviewed and issued by the center directly.
5. What is deleted and what we keep
5.1 Deleted
- Voice recordings
- Homework assignments, submissions, and attachments
- Device registrations and login sessions
- Your login credentials (email and password are anonymized so they can't be used again)
- A deleted child's student record (Section 1) or, on full account deletion, all children's active profiles
5.2 Retained
We keep invoice and payment records after account deletion. We do this because tax and accounting regulations require us to retain financial records (typically for several years), and because these records may be needed to resolve billing disputes. No new charges can occur once your account is deleted — these are historical records only.
